Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film manufacturing method and a film drawing apparatus that reduce the influence of wave shape deformation of a film after lateral drawing and prevent cutting faults.SOLUTION: A long-sized film 12 is drawn in the width direction so as to have a thickness of 40 μm or less while being conveyed. In a drawing step, the film 12 is held at both side parts by clips 50 and drawn in the width direction. In a cutting step, both the side parts of the film 12 held by the clips 50 are cut off by a cutting blade 75. In a pass roller conveying step, the film 12, which is released from holding of both the side parts, is conveyed by a second pass roller 72 and a third pass roller 73. The total winding angle of the film 12 on the second pass roller 72 and the third pass roller 73 is set at 90° or more. The second pass roller 72 and the third pass roller 73 reduce wave shape deformation of the film 12 and prevent cutting faults.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
