Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating body structure that needs a filtration mechanism for filtering water taken in from the outside or water to be discharged to the outside capable of securing a wide filtration area easily and eliminating demerits such as an increase in pump drive force, a difficulty in securing an installation space, an increase in the weight, an increase in the cost of maintenance and inspection, etc., and a water filtering method in the floating body structure.SOLUTION: A filter member 20 is disposed in a void space section 7 that differs from a residence area, an engine room, a storage tank, a cargo tank, and a fuel tank, and divides the void space section 7 into two small sections 7a and 7b. The filter member 20 filters water that flows into one small section 7a of the small sections 7a and 7b into which the void space section is divided, causes the filtered water to outflow to the other small section 7b of the small sections 7a and 7b into which the void space section 7 is divided, and filters water taken in from the outside or water to be discharged to the outside.
