Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a strength of a flexible hose when the hose is contacted with a foreign object.SOLUTION: A flexible hose 1 includes a first helical reinforcing body 11 and a second helical reinforcing body 12. Each of the first helical reinforcing body 11 and the second helical reinforcing body 12 is formed by winding a synthetic resin stripe extruded and molded in a predetermined cross section in a helical manner to leave a predetermined clearance between edges of each of stripes. The second helical reinforcing body 12 is arranged on an outer circumference of the first helical reinforcing body 11 in such a way that it covers the clearance of the first helical reinforcing body 11 to bridge over between the side edges of the first helical reinforcing bodies 11 adjacent to each other. The first helical reinforcing body 11 and the second helical reinforcing body 12 are not adhered to each other. A center part 12a of an inner circumferential surface of the stripe constituting the second helical reinforcing body 12 is located at a position inside in a radial direction of the hose than a position of a portion 11a of the outer circumferential surface of the stripe constituting the first helical reinforcing body 11 positioned at the outer-most position in a radial direction of the hose.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
