Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimum missile flight method complying with an operational demand.SOLUTION: A set of Pareto solutions for simultaneously optimizing a remaining velocity when a rendezvous point is reached and time until the rendezvous point is reached, or a set of approximate solutions thereof is calculated. A flight method, which satisfies a condition of rendezvous with a target in an individual launching case and which is optimum when an arbitrary high value is placed on each of the remaining velocity and arrival time in such a manner as to comply with an operational demand in the launching case, is selected from among them.
