Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an abrasion-resistant grinding wheel having sufficient abrasion resistance at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: A soft steel welding wire 25 and the shielding gas 27 are fed, the combustion residue of wastes and oxide ceramic such as coal ash are fed as a raw material, arc welding is performed on a roll 23 to deposit deposition grains on a grinding wheel base 24, and a sedimentary layer is formed on the peripheral face of the grinding wheel base 24.
