PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the voltage value of a driving pulse for obtaining a reference discharge speed even if there is a temperature change without measuring by actually changing temperature.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for generating a voltage correction table indicating the temperature change of the voltage value of a driving pulse in a liquid jet head jetting a liquid as a droplet landing on a medium to be recorded. The method is characterized by: obtaining a viscosity change information indicating the viscosity change of the liquid with respect to a temperature change; measuring a voltage value at which a droplet discharge speed becomes a preset reference discharge speed; increasing and decreasing the viscosity value of the viscosity change information so that the viscosity value of the viscosity change information at the temperature when said voltage value is obtained overlaps the measured voltage value at which a droplet discharge speed becomes the reference discharge speed when expressing each unit of viscosity and voltage value in a preset unit; and considering the viscosity change information after increasing/decreasing as the voltage correction table.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
