Abstract:
To provide a water closet that can reduce a gap between a cover member and a toilet bowl body, efficiently can assemble the cover member to the toilet bowl body, and improve overall design of the water closet when both are assembled.SOLUTION: A water closet 1 of the present invention comprises: cover members 6, 8 that are detachably attached so as to cover a rear side of an outer peripheral part 18 of a toilet bowl body 2; and gap reducing means S1, S2 that guide the cover member so as to reduce the gap between the cover member and a rear side wall part of the outer peripheral part of the toilet bowl body when cover side mounting parts 22, 24, 30, 32 of the cover member are attached to toilet bowl body side mounting parts 26, 28, 34, 36 provided on a rear side wall part of the outer peripheral part of the toilet bowl body, wherein the gap reducing means is configured so that the cover member can be guided forward and inward with respect to the toilet bowl body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
