Abstract:
The present invention provides an aircraft with which an airframe can be made smaller and lighter by compactly disposing an aircraft control device and a generator engine in the airframe while maintaining the performance of the aircraft control device and the performance of an engine generator. The present invention is an aircraft 1, having: an airframe 2; a plurality of rotors 22 including an electric motor 23 and a propeller 24; a generator 10 which supplies power to the electric motor 23; a generator engine 12 which drives the generator 10; an aircraft control device 25 which controls the electric motor 23 and the generator engine 12; a cooling unit having a radiator which cools at least one of the generator 10 and the generator engine 12; and a fan which cools the radiator. The fan is located above the propeller 24 in the vertical direction. The cooling unit is such that air discharged from the fan and passing through the radiator flows towards the generator engine 12 and does not flow towards the aircraft control device 25.
