Abstract:
To provide a forklift allowing a palette to be properly mounted with respect to a fork.SOLUTION: A forklift comprises: a vehicle body; a fork; a moving apparatus to move the fork in a first direction; a lifting apparatus to raise or lower the fork in a second direction; a tilting apparatus to tilt the fork in the first direction; a sensor to detect that a fork inserting part has approached a facing surface of the inserting hole so close that a distance between the inserting part and the facing surface is less than a prescribed value; and a control device to control the moving apparatus, the lifting apparatus, and the tilting apparatus. The control device executes stopping processing to stop the moving apparatus, the lifting apparatus, and the tilting apparatus at the time detected by the sensor in processing of a step S103. The control device executes avoidance processing to separate the inserting part from the facing surface approached by the inserting part in the processing of a step 104 so that a position in the second direction of the inserting part does not change with respect to an entrance of the inserting hole by controlling the tilting apparatus and the lifting apparatus after the execution of the stopping processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
