Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an α blending image to be displayed at high speed and less arithmetical operation quantity by providing a selection signal generating means and a selection means for outputting a first image data or a second image data based on a selection signal.
SOLUTION: In using image data 1 stored in an image data 1 storing unit 11, a presently processed dot is processed by the use of the image data 1 stored therein. In using an image data 2 containing α stored in an image data 2 storing unit 12, a presently processed dot is processed by the use of the image data 2 stored therein to form a synthetic image data. The formed data is sent to an output unit 3 and displayed. Accordingly it is possible to display the image data including α information without executing additing and substracting operation for each dot data of the image data 1 and the image data 2 in the case of synthesizing the image data containing α.
