Abstract:
To provide a fuel injection valve which can reduce a resonance pulsation even in the case where the length of an introduction passage cannot be set to be short with respect to the limit length in which a frequency bandwidth of injection waves and a frequency bandwidth of reflection waves do not interfere with each other.SOLUTION: In a valve body 50 of a fuel injection valve 10, a fuel inlet 51, a fuel supply passage 14 and an introduction passage 17 branched from a sensor branch part Y0 in the middle of the fuel supply passage 14 are formed. A pressure sensor 64 is mounted on the valve body 50, and detects a pressure of the fuel transmitted to a sensor closed end Es via the introduction passage 17. It is assumed that the pressure sensor 64 takes a pressure pulsation of injection waves generated according to the fuel injection as a detection object, and excludes a resonance pulsation generated by reflection waves reciprocating in the introduction passage 17 from the detection object. A closed end branch passage 801 is provided which branches from a sub branch part Y1 in the middle of the introduction passage 17, and in which length Lb1 is set so as to reduce the resonance pulsation overlapping the pressure pulsation of the injection waves.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
