Abstract:
To provide a game machine, when initialization processing of a magnetic sensor (magnetic field measuring means) does not normally executed, capable of detecting it as abnormality.SOLUTION: A game machine includes magnetic field measuring means capable of measuring intensity of a magnetic field, installed therein, and stores a value measured by the magnetic field measuring means as a reference value in initialization processing that is executed at power activation. Further, magnetic field generating means that generates a magnetic field by energization is installed within a range where the magnetic filed acts on the magnetic field measuring means and, when examining whether or not the initialization processing is normally executed, controls the energization to the magnetic field generating means. When a difference between the measurement value of the magnetic field measuring means when energizing to the magnetic field generating means, and the reference value is smaller than a prescribed value, or when a difference between the measurement value of the magnetic field measuring means when non-energizing to the magnetic field generating means, and the reference value is more than a prescribed value, they are detected as abnormality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
