Abstract:
To provide a technology capable of improving cooling performance of combustion gas and collection performance of a residue while restraining a short path of the combustion gas in a gas generator having a filter.SOLUTION: A filter end surface being an axial end surface supported by a flat surface in a housing and recessed parts axially recessed with respect to the filter end surface and communicating with a combustion chamber are formed in at least one end part of both axial end parts of a filter of a gas generator. The filter is arranged in a state where opening parts excluding inner side opening parts which combustion gas generated by combustion of a gas generation agent flows through, among opening parts in the recessed part, are closed by a closing member including at least a flat surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
