Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket and a sealing device, enabling stable sealing without providing an attachment groove, and capable of preventing intrusion of water such as saline water or high-pressure water for car wash.SOLUTION: An annular gasket body 2 comprising a rubber-like elastic material having an interference part 21 for sealing a gap between two members 4, 5, has an outer peripheral extension part 2a and an inner peripheral extension part 2b respectively provided widely on an outer peripheral side and an inner peripheral side with respect to a sealed end surface 41 of one member 4 of the two members 4, 5. The outer peripheral extension part 2a and the inner peripheral extension part 2b respectively have an outer peripheral side wall 22 and an inner peripheral side wall 23 respectively contacting with an outer peripheral surface 42 and an inner peripheral surface 43 adjacent to the sealed end surface 41 of the one member 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
