Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a syringe gasket having excellent performance such as slidability, liquid leakage resistance, and protein adsorption inhibition performance. The syringe gasket is a syringe gasket including a liquid contact portion and a sliding portion, wherein an inactive film is layered on the liquid contact portion, no inactive film is layered on the sliding portion, a modified polymer chain is formed on a surface of the sliding portion, the modified polymer chain is obtained by adding a silane compound to a surface of a polymer chain and further reacting a fluoroalkyl group-containing silane compound and/or a perfluoroether group-containing silane compound, and a mass ratio of the fluoroalkyl group-containing silane compound to the perfluoroether group-containing silane compound is 0:100 to 100:0.
