Abstract:
To provide a grain dryer capable of improving the accuracy of detecting an amount of grain charged, while reducing noise and controlling a load on grain.SOLUTION: A grain dryer 101 for circulating/drying grain, provided with a grain diffusion device 111 that supplies a storage section 102 with grain, with the grain diffusion device 111 comprising a slide member 114 slidable along the longitudinal direction of an upper screw 109, and a grain feed member 112 connected to the slide member 114 to travel with the slide member 114 along the longitudinal direction of the upper screw 109 to drop and feed grain received from the upper screw 109 into the storage section 102, is characterized in that the slide member 114 comprises a drive mechanism 114b that causes the slide member 114 to reciprocally slide in the forward/backward direction within a specified movable range, and thereby noise can be reduced, a load on the grain can be controlled, and the accuracy of detecting the amount of the grain charged can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
