Abstract:
To provide a hand-held work machine capable of contributing to compactification of an operation part by properly arranging a stop switch and a position sensor, and also improving handleability of the work machine.SOLUTION: In a hand-held work machine, an operation part 86 of a prime mover 2 is arranged in the vicinity of a front end of a grip part 11 gripped by an operator. The operation part 86 comprises: an operation part case 20; a stop switch 70 for the prime mover 2, the stop switch 70 being arranged on an upper position of the operation part case 20; an output operation member 30 supported by the operation part case 20; and a position sensor 82 for detecting a position of the output operation member 30 and contributing to control of the prime mover 2. The position sensor 82 is arranged on a lower position in the operation part case 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
