Abstract:
To provide a heat exchange unit which enables easy replacement of various kinds of devices and components while preventing leakage of brine to the outside.SOLUTION: A chiller 3 is connected to a heat exchange unit 1 and cools brine and the heat exchange unit 1 can cool water with the cooled brine. The heat exchange unit 1 includes: a brine tank 5 which stores the brine; a heat exchanger 6 which conducts heat exchange between the brine and the water; a brine delivery pipe 7 which delivers the brine from the brine tank 5 to the chiller 3; a brine supply pipe 8 which supplies the brine from the chiller 3 to the heat exchanger 6; and a brine discharge pipe 9 which discharges the brine from the heat exchanger 6 to the brine tank 5. The heat exchanger 6 is provided at an upper part of the brine tank 5 to recover the brine in the heat exchanger 6 and a pipeline into the brine tank 5 easily. If an inlet port 34 is provided at a brine pipe 8 located at an upper part of the heat exchanger 6, the brine can be recovered more easily by opening the inlet port 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
