Abstract:
To provide a heat pump system shortening defrosting time to improve usability.SOLUTION: A heat pump system includes: a compression mechanism 21; a use-side heat exchanger 22 heating a use-side heat medium; an intermediate heat exchanger 26; a first expansion device 23; a by-pass refrigerant circuit 3 branched between the use-side heat exchanger 22 and the first expansion device 23, heat-exchanged with a refrigerant flowing through a main refrigerant circuit 2 by the intermediate heat exchanger 26 after the branched refrigerant is decompressed by the second expansion device 31 and merged into the refrigerant on the way of the compression mechanism 21; and a use-side heat medium circuit 5 circulating the use-side heat medium by a transfer device 55. When an operation is moved to that in a defrosting operation mode on the way of executing an operation in a heating operation mode, the aperture of a second expansion device 31 is operated in a closing direction, thereafter the operation of the transfer device 55 is stopped, and execution of the operation in the heating operation mode is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
