Abstract:
To improve reliability of an electrical connection between a heating resistor 2 and a first cylindrical fitting 3.SOLUTION: A heater 10 comprises: a ceramic body 1; the heating resistor 2 which is embedded in the ceramic body 1 and of which at least one end 21 is led out to a side face at a rear end side of the ceramic body 1; the first cylindrical fitting 3 which is provided to enclose a portion of the side face of the ceramic body 1; and a second cylindrical fitting 4 which encloses at least a rear end of the first cylindrical fitting 3. The first cylindrical fitting 3 includes: a cylindrical first portion 31 to which the second cylindrical fitting 4 is fixed; and a cylindrical second portion 32 which is positioned adjacently to a rear end of the first portion 31 and of which the outer diameter is smaller than that of the first portion 31. The second portion 32 covers a portion of the side face of the ceramic body 1 where the one end 21 of the heating resistor 2 is led out, and there is a clearance between an outer peripheral surface of the second portion 32 and an inner peripheral surface of the second cylindrical fitting 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
