Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high voltage insulation monitoring device and a high voltage insulation monitoring method capable of detecting insulation deterioration with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A high voltage insulation monitoring device 1, which detects insulation deterioration of a high voltage distribution line, comprises: a zero-phase-sequence current transformer 2b which detects a zero-phase current of a high voltage distribution line L1; a converter 2c which detects a load current of each phase of the high voltage distribution line L1; and a correction unit 3a which uses characteristics of the load current of each phase detected by the converter 2c and the zero-phase-sequence current transformer 2b to correct the zero-phase current detected by the zero-phase-sequence current transformer 2b so that an error of the zero-phase current resulting from influence of the load current of each phase is eliminated.
