Abstract:
A hybrid vehicle including an engine (12), a drive motor (MG2), a first oil pump (PI), and a second oil pump (P2) is configured to, during forward travel, supply components to be cooled or lubricated with oil discharged from a discharge port (82b) of the first oil pump (PI) and a discharge port (84b) of the second oil pump (P2) via an oil passage (98), while the hybrid vehicle is configured to, during reverse travel, compensate for a driving force by supplying oil discharged from the discharge port (84b) of the second oil pump (P2) to the discharge port (82b) of the first oil pump (PI) via the oil passage (98) to cause the first oil pump (PI) to operate as a hydraulic motor.
