PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which exception handling during an available time can be achieved simply at a high degree of freedom.SOLUTION: An image forming device, which uses a proximity sensor for detecting an electronic device, comprises: an available time management portion that restricts use of the image forming device within a predetermined available time; an overtime use-right issuing portion which issues an overtime use-right for permitting the use of the image forming device during the outside of the available time in response to a request from an electronic device detected by the proximity sensor; and an overtime use-right usage management portion which permits the use of the image forming device on the basis of the issued overtime use-right.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
