PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that can be connected to a post-processing device, which can improve a convenience of a user more than before.SOLUTION: An image forming device 100 forms an image on a recording material according to a printing job. The image forming device 100 is configured to be connectable to a post-processing device 180. The image forming device 100 comprises a carrying passage 130Z for carrying the recording material, a receiving portion for receiving a cancellation of the printing job, and a control portion 110 for controlling carrying of the recording material. The carrying passage 130Z includes a first carrying passage 130B for exhausting the recording material to the post-processing device, and a second carrying passage 130A for exhausting the recording material to the image forming device. The control portion 110, when the receiving portion receives an instruction to cancel the printing job including post processing by the post-processing device 180, switches the carrying passage for the recording material from the first carrying passage 130B to the second carrying passage 130A on the basis of a position of the recording material on the carrying passage at the time when the receiving portion receives the instruction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
