Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an error in measurement of toner consumption even when halftone processing is turned on or off for reducing rear end accumulation according to a change over time in developing process characteristic.SOLUTION: A halftone processing part 33 executes halftone processing on image data. A count processing part 32 counts the density of image data before the halftone processing to predict toner consumption. The count processing part 32 corrects the count value of the density of the image data according to the presence or absence of the halftone processing on a solid part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
