Abstract:
To provide an image formation apparatus capable of compatibly suppressing a fixation defect of an image and saving energy.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus has: an image formation part 10 which forms an image on a recording material; a fixation part 20 which has a cylindrical heat transfer member 24 and a heating member 21 coming into contact with an inner surface of the heat transfer member, and heats the recording material P having the image formed with heat from the heating member through the heat transfer member to fix the image on the recording material; and control means 311 which sets a control temperature of the heating member. The image formation apparatus has image detection means 401 of detecting whether the image formed on the recording material has pixels which have density equal to or higher than predetermined density and are at intervals, equal to a peripheral length of the heat transfer member, in a recording material carrying direction, and the control means sets the control temperature higher when the pixels are present than when not.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
