Abstract:
To provide an image forming apparatus that can reduce downtime.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 comprises: an image forming unit 40; and a control unit 10. The image forming unit 40 forms an image on a sheet (recording medium). The control unit 10 controls the image forming unit 40. The control unit 10 estimates abnormality in operation of the image forming unit 40 based on an instruction from a user from before a power supply is turned off until after the power supply is turned on, and determines whether the image forming unit 40 should execute image calibration according to a result of the estimation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
