Abstract:
To provide an image generation device which can suppress the occurrence of the deviation between images connected in a virtual view point image even when the posture of a movable body is changed after an occupant gets in a vehicle.SOLUTION: In an image generation device 10, a first distance detection unit 111 detects as a first distance a distance between a movable body 1 and an object existing in the left direction or right direction of the movable body 1 before an occupant gets in the movable body 1, a second distance detection unit 112 detects as a second distance a distance between the movable body and the object existing in the left direction and right direction of the movable body 1 after the occupant gets in the movable body 1, an inclination angle calculation unit 12 calculates an inclination angle change amount being a change amount of an inclination angle in the lateral direction of the movable body 1 before and after the occupant gets in the movable body on the basis of the first distance and the second distance, a correction unit 13 corrects posture data of a camera on the basis of the inclination angle change amount, the first distance and the second distance, and an image generation unit 14 generates a view point conversion image from the plurality of generated images using the corrected posture data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
