Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing lens which offers high optical performance compatible with image sensor with increasingly higher pixel density of late, and which is compact and light-weight and yet has a sufficiently wide view angle, and to provide an image capturing device having the same.SOLUTION: An image capturing lens comprises, in order from the object side, a first lens having negative refractive power, a second lens having negative refractive power, a third lens having positive refractive power, an aperture stop, a fourth lens having positive refractive power, and a fifth lens having positive refractive power. The fifth lens is made of a resin material, has at least one aspherical lens surface, and satisfies a conditional expression (1) below: f5/f<28 ...(1), where f5 represents a focal length of the fifth lens, and f represents a focal length of the entire lens system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
