Abstract:
An image pickup apparatus (100) includes an image pickup optical system (50) for conducting a subject light; an optical system support (21) for supporting the image pickup optical system; an image pickup element (8) for converting photoelectrically the subject light conducted by the image pickup optical system; an outer frame (12) for housing the optical system support; and an optical system support guide (22,23), fixed to the outer frame, supporting the optical system support slidably along an optical axis, wherein the outer frame is assembled to the image pickup element so that the outer frame is in contact with the image pickup element.
