PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to intuitively set a plurality of refocusing parameters in refocusing processing.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: acquisition means for acquiring image data expressing an image; input means for inputting a user instruction; focus acquisition means for acquiring information indicating a focal position in a refocus image on the basis of a first user instruction input by the input means; depth acquisition means for acquiring information indicating depth of field in the refocus image on the basis of a second user instruction input by the input means; and first generation means for generating a refocused image in which a focus state of the image is adjusted from the image data on the basis of the information indicating the focal position and the information indicating the depth of field.
