Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of acquiring an output image with high picture quality by simple calculation.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: a plurality of optical systems 101 with different focal distances; a plurality of imaging elements 102 provided correspondingly to each of the plurality of optical systems 101; an image processing part 104 for acquiring the plurality of images picked up by the plurality of optical systems 101 with different focus distances; and an image processing part 104 for synthesizing a plurality of images and generating a synthesized image. Each of combinations of the optical systems 101 and the imaging elements 102 has the following relationship: (a focus distance)/(a length of one side of a pixel) corresponding to a first optical system is N times (N: an integer larger than 1) as many as (a focus distance)/(a length of one side of a pixel) corresponding to a second optical system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
