Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of image processing to a captured image by using an image before photographing obtained by a photometric sensor, without complicating the structure of a camera, in the camera in which the photometric sensor is provided.SOLUTION: An image processing part 101 for the photometric sensor extracts an area to which pre-light-emission is relatively strongly applied from preparatory image data obtained before flash photographing and generates the area as a first extracted image. A reduced image generation part 105 generates reduced image data in which the data amount of captured image data obtained by the flash photographing is reduced. A pattern matching part 103 performs pattern matching between a reduced image and the first extracted image, to detect a first corresponding area corresponding to the first extracted image from the reduced image. An image processing part 107 performs white balance processing to the captured image on the basis of the information of the capture image data, the reduced image data and the first corresponding area.
