Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and improve the image quality of an acquired image while maintaining observation performance.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus for microscope includes: an imaging device 20 which images a subject to acquire an image; a driving circuit 21 which drives the imaging device; clock generation means 22 which generates a clock frequency to be supplied to the driving circuit; area-of-interest setting means 25 which sets an area of interest to an image to be picked up by the imaging device; and clock changing means 24 which changes the clock frequency generated by the clock generation means, in accordance with the size of the area of interest set by the area-of-interest setting means.
