Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use fuel gas in fuel off-gas by separating impurities in the fuel off-gas.SOLUTION: An impurity removal device 27 comprises: a housing 51; and an electric motor including a rotor 50 and a stator 60, which are accommodated in the housing 51. The rotor 50 is provided with a rotation blade 64 that causes fuel off-gas, introduced into the housing 51, to generate centrifugal force toward radial outside from the rotation center of the rotor 50. The housing 51 comprises: an off-gas inflow part 71 for introducing fuel off-gas to the inside; an impurity ejection part 73 provided on the outer periphery of the housing, which corresponds to radially outside from the rotation center of the rotor 51; and a fuel extraction part 72 provided near the rotary shaft of the rotor 51 at a housing end. When the rotation shaft of the rotor 51 is directly or indirectly connected to another device to be driven, the electric motor is used as a drive source for the device to be driven.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
