Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to keep safety of a decryption key, which is necessary for decrypting new provision target information every time the information is transmitted from one device to another device, without using a safe path for transmission of the decryption key.SOLUTION: A server D, in performing initial setting, transmits an initial value Rof a common random number to a smart phone C by using a safe path such as a VPN to make the same shared random number Rbe shared by both devices. Every time the smart phone C requests a new confidential file F(S14), the server D transmits an encrypted confidential file e(K, F) obtained by encrypting the confidential file Fusing a common key Kand a secondary key Yobtained by encrypting the common key Kusing a shared random number Rto the smart phone C (S22). A communication path used at the time of the transmission does not need to be safe. The smart phone C decrypts the secondary key Yusing the shared random number Rto acquire the common key Kand decrypts the encrypted confidential file e(K, F) using the common key K.
