Abstract:
To quickly detect an incorrect connection when a line connecting cable and a telephone set connecting cable are incorrectly connected, and report that the cables are incorrectly connected.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises a telephone line connection unit to which a line connecting cable connected to a telephone line must be connected; a telephone set connection unit to which a telephone set connecting cable connected to a telephone set must be connected; a line voltage measurement unit that detects the line voltage supplied from the telephone line; a telephone hook detection unit that detects the hook state of the telephone set; and a connection stage determination unit that determines the connection state of the line connecting cable and the telephone set connecting cable. The hook state of the telephone set is detected while a prescribed telephone set supply voltage is applied to the telephone hook detection unit and the telephone set connection unit, and the connection state determination unit determines, on the basis of the detected hook state and the detected line voltage, whether or not the line connecting cable is connected to the telephone line connection unit and the telephone set connecting cable is connected to the telephone set connection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
