Abstract:
This conveyance member enables accurately maintaining the conveyed amount of a medium more easily than conventionally possible, and an inkjet printer are provided. A drum (52) which configures part of a conveyance mechanism (50) of a fabric (80) and which conveys the fabric (80) is characterized by comprising a medium retention surface (52c) formed to contact and retain the fabric (80), by conveying the fabric (80) by moving the medium retention surface (52c) in a state in which the fabric (80) is retained by the medium retention surface (52c), and in that the medium retention surface (52c) has undergone surface treatment by thermal spraying.
