Abstract:
To prevent ink from leaking out from an ink head even if leakage occurs in a supply pump.SOLUTION: A control device 30 comprises: an ink supply part 31 that supplies ink in a first amount to a storage chamber 81 by driving a supply pump 68, when the pressure in the storage chamber 81 detected by a detection device 90 is equal to or lower than predetermined pressure; a flushing control part 32 that executes a flushing operation; a first determination part 33 that when ink in a predetermined amount is discharged through a nozzle 23 of the ink head 21 by the flushing operation, determines whether or not the pressure in the storage chamber 81 is equal to or lower than the predetermined pressure; and a suction control part 34 that executes a suction operation of sucking fluid in a sealed space 48 formed between a nozzle surface 24 and a cap 42 by driving a suction pump 44 until the pressure in the storage chamber 81 becomes equal to or lower than the predetermined pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
