Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installation of a hoist by which a hoist can be easily installed, and an elevator which is installed by use of the method for installation of the hoist.SOLUTION: In a work scaffold assembly process, a work scaffold is assembled on a portion excluding a space for location of a pair of balance weight side guide rails in a hoistway. In a guide rail assembly process, a pair of guide rails for a car and a pair of balance weight side guide rails are assembled by use of the work scaffold. In a lifting process, a lifting device is installed near a ceiling of the hoistway, and a hoist unit having a hoist and a guide member which is slidably engaged with the balance weight side guide rail is assembled. Thereafter, by use of the lifting device, the hoist unit is lifted to an upper part of the balance weight side guide rail while being guided on the balance weight side guide rail.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
