Title:
An internal-combustion engine and its fuel supply method
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6171404
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of suppressing the temperature rise of liquefied gas fuel in a high pressure pump to prevent the vaporization of the liquefied gas fuel in the high pressure pump when the temperature of the high pressure pump rises as the temperature of the internal combustion engine rises, while minimizing the resulting increased driving loss of the high pressure pump to prevent the vaporization of the liquefied gas fuel, and to provide a fuel supply method for the same.SOLUTION: An ECU 14 of an engine 1 includes target circulation flow amount calculating means M1 for calculating a target circulation flow amount Qt' to be a target value for a circulation flow amount Qt of DME to be circulated into a fuel tank 6 by a fuel recirculating system 11 on the basis of the operating condition of the engine 1, and flow control means M2 for controlling the fuel circulating system 11 so that the circulation flow amount Qt is the target circulation flow amount Qt', and for controlling a fuel supply system 8 so that a total flow amount Qf of the DME to be supplied into a high pressure pump 7 is a temperature rise suppressing flow amount Qf' to suppress the rise of a temperature Td of the DME in the high pressure pump 7.
