Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door device capable of preventing criminal act such as breaking a door frame and a door lock.SOLUTION: A door 31 with a latch device 101 is installed to a door frame of a building in a manner to open/close in an outward-opening manner. A striker 111 is attached to the door frame at the position that the striker interferes with an opening/closing locus of the door 31 in a manner that the striker protrudes in an open/close direction of the door 31 so as not be exposed from a gap generated between the door frame and the door 31. In a state that the door 31 is closed, by engaging the striker 111 with the latch member 122 via an insertion hole 102 which opens in the face inside the door 31 to thereby latch the door 31. The latch member 122 is configured so that, when being slid in a horizontal direction for example, the latch member moves between a latch position where the latch member is engaged with the striker 111 to latch the door 31 and a latch release position where the engagement with the striker 111 is released; and thus, the latch of the door 31 is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
