Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic composition capable of providing a coated film not being transferred, not leaving a mark on a substrate with which the coated film is brought into contact, not moving for many hours, having excellent cosmetic characteristics, readily removable, extremely excellent in fixing strength, by combining a microdispersion of wax with an aqueous dispersion of a film- forming polymer.
SOLUTION: This cosmetic composition comprises an aqueous dispersion containing at least one wax and an aqueous dispersion of a film-forming polymer particle and is applicable to skin, half-mucosa and/or mucosa. A polycondensation type polymer, a radical type polymer or a polymer of a natural raw material may be cited as the polymer. The particle size of the film-forming polymer in the aqueous dispersion is preferably 10-500nm and the composition contains preferably 0.1-50wt.% (dried substance) of wax.
