Abstract:
To provide a lead-acid battery excellent in terms of preventing liquid reduction.SOLUTION: The lead-acid battery includes an electrolyte tank having a cell chamber and an open top surface, a group of electrodes and an electrolyte housed in the cell chamber, and a lid for closing the opening. The electrode group has a plurality of negative electrodes and a plurality of positive electrodes. The plurality of negative electrodes is connected to each other by straps formed of an alloy containing Pb and Sn. The plurality of positive electrodes is connected to each other by straps formed of an alloy containing Pb and Sn (excluding alloys containing antimony). The negative electrodes include a resin having a structural unit derived from a bisphenol compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
