Abstract:
To provide the present invention related to a fitting technique of both housings in a lever type connector.SOLUTION: A lever type connector 10 comprises: a base side housing 20; and a connector side housing 40 that provides a cover part 30a having a rotatable lever 30. In an outer peripheral edge 26 of the base side housing 20, a taper 26a having an inclination directed to a side wall inner surface of the base side housing 20 is provided. In addition, the base side housing 20 includes a fitting contact surface 28 contacted to the connector side housing 40 at the time of main fitting of the base side housing 20 to the side wall inner surface. In the connector side housing 40, a housing seal 50 having more flexibility than that of the base side housing 20 and the connector side housing 40 at a position contacted with a fitting contact surface 28 at the time of the main fitting is provided. The housing seal 50 is contacted to the fitting contact surface 28 in a state of a temporal fitting.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
