PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device, a light irradiation module, and a printing device with a comparatively longer operation life, saving energy, capable of suppression the generation of ozone and properly irradiating ultraviolet to an object to be treated.SOLUTION: The light irradiation device for irradiating light to the object relatively moving has a light emitter constituted by arranging a plurality of light emitting elements, a detector for detecting the presence or absence of the object, and a controller controlling the light emitting of the light emitting elements according to the detected result of the detector.
