Abstract:
To provide a lighting device which can maintain a predetermined irradiation light amount even when used in an outdoor space without needing periodic maintenance.SOLUTION: In a lighting device 1, a light source unit 10 is fixedly housed in a space formed by integrating a housing frame 40 with a housing cover 50. A peripheral edge part of a window hole 43 which is provided at a front plate part 41 of the housing frame 40 and from which a part of a cover lens 30 of the light source unit 10 is exposed is bent inward to form a folded part 44. The structure causes rainwater entering into the lighting device 1 to be dammed by the folded part 44 and thereby eliminates a possibility that the rainwater is discharged from a gap between a tip 44a of the folded part 44 of the window hole 43 and a lens part 31 of the cover lens 30 exposed from the window hole 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
