To provide a lighting unit which enables improvement of heat radiation performance of a heat sink.SOLUTION: A lighting device 1A includes: a lighting unit SU1; and a support member 8. The support member 8 supports the lighting unit SU1. The lighting unit SU1 includes multiple light source units 2 and a heat sink 6. The heat sink 6 is provided at the multiple light source units 2. The multiple light source units 2 include two or more light source units 2 arranged side by side in one direction.
