Title:
BALANCER SHAFT LUBRICATING STRUCTURE IN BALANCER DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3214807
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively lubricate a journal of a balancer shaft by avoiding the influence of centrifugal force acting on lubricating oil.
SOLUTION: A balancer shaft 12, to which the rotation of a crankshaft is transmitted through an intermediate shaft 13, is rotatably supported through the first to third Journals 121 to 123. By making one end of the balancer shaft 12 appear in an intermediate part of an oil path 20 supplying lubricating oil from an oil pump to the intermediate shaft 13, the first journal 12 is lubricated, further the second/third journals 122, 123 are lubricated through an oil path 50 opened to the oil path 20 to extend to the inside of the balancer shaft 12 and oil holes 51, 52 branching in the radial direction from this oil path 50.
