Abstract:
To provide an on-load tap changer capable of making diagnosis of whether a polarity of a voltage, switched by a changeover switch is normal.SOLUTION: An on-load tap changer (3) comprises: a plurality of changeover switches (ThX_U:X=1, 2, 3, 4, A, B, C, and D) for switching a plurality of taps (t1, t2, t3, and t4) held by a secondary winding of a power transformer with a tap (2); a control part (31) that switches the plurality of taps by turning on/off the plurality of changeover switches; a first signal detection part (S17) that detects an AC signal applied to a primary winding of the power transformer with the tap; and a second signal detection part (S17) that detects an AC signal of the secondary winding of the power transformer with the tap, output from each tap switched by the control part. The control part makes a diagnosis of the presence/absence of an abnormality in the switching by each changeover switches on the basis of a phase difference of the AC signal detected by the first signal detection part and the AC signal detected by the second signal detection part, and a position of the switched tap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
